Michelle Heriford

Q: Who are you anyway?
A: Michelle Heriford
Q: Where might someone see you around Trinity?
A: Drama
Q: What are your “vital stats”?
A: My husband’s name is Nick, and we have been married seven years. We don’t have any kids yet, but we have a golden doodle (part golden retriever, part poodle) named Chai. My family is very interesting! I like to confuse people and say I have a 32-year-old sister, 11-year-old sister-in-law, an eight-year-old nephew and a two-year-old sister. Oh, and I am also half-Mexican (with blonde hair and blue eyes). Sounds crazy but it is all true! I am a Nurse Practitioner at Sparrow in the Palliative Care department. This is a specialty that focuses on comfort (to palliate means to comfort) and works mostly with terminally ill patients. This is relatively new for me. Before that I was a nurse for the cardiology department.
Q: What are your passions?
A: Taking care of people. Being creative by scrapbooking and sewing and singing. Most of my singing is when nobody is home but my dog Chai; she loves my concerts!
Q: Women want to know...what is your favorite indulgence?
A: Carmel Lattes and FOOD! Could go on and on here, but it all comes back to food. (Just ask my husband)

Q: Now dream big here, if (huge if!) you had a day to yourself with no chores or obligations, how would you spend it?
A: What a wonderful thought! Well I would start with a great cup of coffee and homemade breakfast. I probably would not get out of my PJ’s until at least 3 pm and I would read or watch movies (chick flicks). After I finally decided to get up, shower and get dressed, I would take the dog to the park for a long walk. My husband could be included in this day in the evening for a dinner date. Sounds lovely!
